Opening of the bottle could be compared with unpacking a slab of raisins-and-nuts chocolate: A heavy, highly aromatic fragrance is released immediately and fills the room.
 
Macallan whiskeys are generally well known for their rich sherry character. Personally, I like the finesse and the full-bodied taste of this whiskey.
