Slowly but surely - this could be the motto of Dominique Chainier. To avoid the well-known "soapy" taste, a careful and slow (and therefore expensive) dilution method is used to transform the distillate of 70% alcohol into drinkable brandy.
Since some time, Chainier produces not only the famous Petite Champagne Cognac but also a Grande Champagne Cognac from own vineyards, and this Cognac can be regarded as a very good product in this price range.
The top of the range is still represented by the 25 years old "Très Vieille Réserve", which once again proves that Petite Champagne Cognacs offer their very own charm.
Many Cognac lovers will join this opinion - slowly but surely!
