Cognac Guerbé

Guerbé is one of the few cognac producers that is still family owned and that uses only the harvest of its own 42 hectare vineyards in the Grande Champagne for distillation.

Today, the company is run by Daniel Guerbé (Director), Jean (Managing Director) and Marie Christine (Marketing). The specialty of Cognac Guerbé are undoubtedly the XO qualities of which the company sells much more than of the VSOP qualities.

The result are cognacs as we are offered only rarely: All of them full-bodied and harmonious, balanced in aroma and taste, but still with the unmistakable "cellar note" of the house, very delicate on the palate and expressive in the finish.

One should refrain from using the word "perfect" frivolously, but the "Vieille Grande Champagne" from Guerbé is a brandy that we cannot describe otherwise. How could something like this be made better?
