In the region producing the best quality of the Petite Champagne near Archiac, the Vallet family has produced cognac since the 18th century - from the cultivation of fortified wines on their own vineyard (50 hectares) and the distillation through to the storage, they do everything on their own.
Already early on, they began at Montifaud to create stocks from that the company benefits to this day: In the cellar of the house, you can still find cognacs dating back to 1830 that were stored there by the great grandfather of today's company director, Louis Vallet.
Obviously, Montifaud does not produce mass goods, but rather a balanced and fine cognac that is typical of the prime locations of the Petite Champagne and that is likely to delight the connoisseur already by its beautiful floral scents. Therefore, we are also a little proud to be one of the suppliers of Montifaud in Germany. The Héritage Maurice Vallet, you'll probably find only at our company in Germany.
