La Libertad

The producer of this excellent cigar is exiled Cuban Nestor A. Plasencia. In Danli in the Honduran highlands, this cigar is manufactured with great experience in continuing a tradition of Cuban tobacco.

La Libertad owes its unmistakable Cuban mark to its wrapper - this is the basis for an earthy, herbal-spicy flavour that is complemented by a Jamastran binder and a filler of premium tobaccos from Honduras. This results in a powerful (not "strong"!) cigar with "character" and with a dense, long-lasting taste and a good draw  - one of my favourites if I had to spend a few years on a desert island and Jennifer Lopez was unable to accompany me.
