Rum Montebello Guadeloupe 1948 55%
Vintage 1948, bottled in 1990 (both dates printed on the label), this rum is one of the most precious products. Aged in french armagnac barrels, 55% alcohol. I tasted it - wow! A nose like grande champagne cognac, an explosion of aromas! You can drink it with some drops of water (about 20% water seems to be the best) or just like it is - maybe the first method lets you even taste more sophisticated notes. Best of all: There is not the slightes hint of old oak wood - just a fine taste!
