Cognac Peuchet Tres Vieille G.F.C. Res. Particuliere
This is an outstanding cognac which origins in the late 70s - an „Extra“-quality of 40-60 years of age with a marvellous label. This quality is mentioned in Paczenskys famous book about cognac because it occured in a famous restaurants brandy selection in the early 80s ("Ente von Lehel"). The price was at the same level as Martell's Extra Cordon Argent or Ragnaud's Héritage, i.e. about 300-600 Euro compared to current prices.
The current top cognac from Peuchet is 50 years of age, so I am quite sure that this Réserve Particuliere is not younger.
If you do not buy it, I will enjoy it myself!
