Cognac Martell Silver Jubilée 1952 / 1977
Produced to celebrate Queen's Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee in 1977, this is a legendary Martell blended from the 1815, 1906, 1914 and 1918 vintages. Chairman Michel F. Martell said at the time that these eaux-de-vie used were "from the finest growths and were chosen for their bouquet and palate, which are unsurpassable".
This was a limited edition of less than a 1000 individually numbered bottles (I guess maybe it had been 999 - the highest number I ever saw was 8XX).
Good filling level, seal on the top slightly damaged.
