Cognac Martell Jubilée 1906-1981 45%

This rare bottle (edition of only 600 numbered pieces) celebrates the 75th anniversary of the cooperation with Koopmans & Bruinier. The cuvée includes some of the finest cognacs of martell's "paradise" stocks from the beginning of the 19th century (this is mentioned in the certificate). One of the greatest Martell cognacs ever created!

We deliver a certificate from Martell and a special gadget: Two copies of letters in french language which explain the story behind the product. A letter from Koopmans to Martell and their answer including the price Koopmans should pay for each bottle! I guess this was not intended to be published ;-)

The price was not really a bargain at that time, but it was affordable (of course, customers had to pay much more). Today, they would have to pay a fortune for a cognac of that quality!

PS: I found two bottles online for 2375 EUR (11th of January 2012).
