Cognac La Gabare Pet. Champ. 1989 45,6%

Blend of two vintage 1989 Petite Champagne cognacs. One of the cognacs came from a very humid warehouse having belonged to a producer located close to the village of Barbezieux. A spring passed under the warehouse and it was covered with mushrooms. The other cognac came from a wholesaler and was aged in a dry warehouse of the ORECO from its distillation until we became the owner of it. The blend gives this cognac a lovely balance, between the roundness and the natural vanillin sugar of the first and sharpness of the second. "I like the freshness and the structure of this cognac on the palate, long and fruity, still on the young side but with a good persistence," Andreas Larsson, 2008.
