Armagnac Francis Darroze
"Merveilleux" and "outstanding" - this is how Revue Vins de France and Robert Parker describe the Darroze products. Undiluted, the vintages are as good as single-malts, and each armagnac is always distilled only from a single grape variety. Today, Darroze is certainly the benchmark in the area of armagnacs. The following three-star restaurants have this eau-de-vie on their menus:
Two product lines are pursued: First, there are the "Grands Assemblages" made of several vintages and varieties. These offer the original, rustic variant of armagnac in its pure form. This is the armagnac that consciously (and confidently) differs from cognac.
The other line is vintage armagnacs from respectively only one domaine - bottled undiluted in original barrel strength. Some are more subtle and full of finesse, others more powerful. But all have one thing in common: outstanding quality! We also deliver this armagnac to the famous Hotel Louis C. Jacob in Hamburg. No wonder: People from the North are true gourmets!
