"Jenssen SARL has won the Gold Medal in the Cognac category for its Jenssen XO Grande Champagne in the 2006 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles wine and spirits competition, which took place in April in Lisbon.
Overall, some 5,000 products were tasted during the competition by 200 professionals from 40 countries, including oenologists, journalists and influential representatives of the wine-producing sector.
Jenssen XO Grande Champagne is described as a fully mature blend, rich and elegant with opulent rancio, spice, candied fruit and heady floral notes. New aromas develop continuously in the glass, and it is smooth and lingering on the palate.
